Jackets Take A Gamble on Number 5

Pat Gamble ended his recruiting process today by giving Georgia Tech his commitment. The defensive lineman out of Carrollton, Georgia has great size and motor to help propel Al Groh's defense to be where the Georgia Tech coaches want it to be.

Pat Gamble slowly moved Georgia Tech up his list and named them the leader at the end of April. With a few defensive commits coming in the past few days Pat Gamble decided to join the rush and commit to the Jackets. Gamble makes 4 out of the 5 commits on the defensive side of the ball. Gamble is also currently rated as the #26 defensive tackle in the country.

Gamble's commitment could put some pressure on other recruits to speed up their process as positions are the defense are beginning to fill up.

We'll have an interview with Gamble here on GoJackets.com soon.
