The Gong Rings For Georgia Tech's Number 11!

Our Lady Counsel DL Roderick Chungong

Roderick Chungong has been considered a Georgia Tech lean for a while now and made it official today by letting the Georgia Tech coaches know that he will be a Yellow Jacket for his college career.

The 6'3", 255 lb. defensive end out of Maryland decided to be the 11th commitment to the Yellow Jackets for the class of 2012. Roderick Chungong has been considered a Georgia Tech lean for some time. Today he made it official.

Roderick is the byproduct of Coach Groh's DC area connections as he comes out of Our Lady Good Counsel in Maryland. He had offers from all over the east coast and midwest but lately was between UVA and Georgia Tech. The big DE will look to be an anchor on the line for years to come in Atlanta.

It is not known at this time how this will affect the recruitment of his teammate Ryan Watson, but the Jackets are hoping Chungong's commitment will help coerce his teammate to join him in his collegiate endeavors.

We'll have more from Roderick right here on GoJackets.com later.
