Nick Glass Impressed By Tech and Coaches
Nick Glass joined a group of top juniors who were on campus to visit Georgia Tech. "Naim Mustafaa, Darius Curry, Keyante Green, and Issac Rochell were just some of the recruits I had a chance to talk with while I was there. We all had a good time together there." The visit helped change Glass' perception of Georgia Tech. "Just sitting down and having a chance to talk with the coaches there and really getting to know them was something that impressed me a lot." The coached talked to Nick about everything from academics to football. "They showed me that not only do they have my football interests in mind but they really care how I do academically and how important it is to take care of that end. It was impressive to say that to me." Glass spent most of his time talking to Coaches Al Groh and Joe Speed. The coaches feel Nick could player corner, safety, or outside linebacker. "They like me at safety and that is where I'd rather play but I will play wherever the team needs me if it will get me on the field sooner." Nick's perception of Tech changed after getting to know the coaches better. "Being there with other recruits and seeing how they liked it and everything was a positive." Nick had been to Tech before but the attention they showed him on this visit showed him how much they care about the players. ". It was something that I really liked seeing." The location is big advantage for Tech in Nick's eyes. "I'm near home and it would be easy for my family and friends to come over and see me play if I went there. It was something that I really liked seeing." Education, the depth chart, and his relationship with the coaches will be some of the things Nick will look at in choosing a school. Now that he has completed his visit to Georgia Tech, Glass will next take a visit on the 25th. "I am deciding between Ole Miss, Auburn, and Wake Forest." Nick will also be visiting Clemson March 3rd. "I definitely know I will be coming back to Georgia Tech for as many practices as I can plus I will be attending the spring game."
