Nate arrived early enough for the game to get a chance to see some of the football facilities. The weight room was one of the facilities that Brown toured. "I really liked the weight lifting program they have." Nate didn't get to meet strength coach John Sisk but he heard a lot about him from the players. "They said that he is one crazy and fun dude but works your butt off."
His role in the triple option offense that Tech runs is one that Brown wants to explore but he really liked what he saw from the Georgia Tech program. "You can't help but see the wide outs they have put in the NFL out of this offense and how great they are doing." Brown is looking forward to talking to receiver coach Buzz Preston to get the ins and outs of the offense.
The offense run by schools recruiting Brown and how he fits into those offenses will be a factor in his decision. "I know that sounds bad for Georgia Tech but it isn't as I know a wide receiver gets one on on one coverage and that is what a wide receiver loves to have." Brown will also be looking for a strong academic program.
Nate and his teammates at North Gwinnett have jumped out to a 2-0 start on the season but face a big challenge this coming week against Norcross. Three of the players Brown will be facing in that game were also at the Georgia Tech game. "We talked some and ribbed each other about the game coming this Friday. I know Myles Autry is the wide receiver for them so it will be interesting to see what happens."
Brown will be talking to his recruiting coach Mike Sewak about setting up another visit to Georgia Tech. "I may be going to Georgia this weekend." Brown is not hearing much from Georgia at this time.
