Gaffney, South Carolina defensive end Jaylen Miller let us know last week that he was finalizing plans to visit Georgia Tech for their game with Boston College. The plans were finalized and Miller was able to make the trip to Atlanta.

"I was able to get in touch with Coach (Mike) Sewak and iron out all the details and set the trip up. Miller was glad he was able to make the trip.

Jaylen was able to see Tech defeat Boston College and he had a chance to tour the campus and football facilities. Miller got to see the players lounge, weight room, and all of the training facilities. "It was a great trip for me."

The highlight of the trip for Jaylen was talking to the players and being able to hear that they never regretted their decision to attend Georgia Tech. "That speaks volumes right there to me."

Miller wants to keep his options open but the trip to Georgia Tech made a big impression on him. Miller had previously made visits to other schools and now he can compare Georgia Tech to those visits. "It was a very good time down in Atlanta."

Another trip to Atlanta, before Tech completes their home schedule, is a possibility for Jaylen. "I hope to get back for another game but I have to see what my schedule looks like on each of the those dates." Miller doesn't have any other visits set up at the present time.

Moving forward, Jalylen will be concentrating on his final season at Gaffney. His plan right now is to make his college choice following the season. "Things can and do change but right I plan on making my decision after my season is over."
