Bogan has strong interest from two schools

Union, New Jersey running back Jamauri Bogan is taking his recruiting in stride. The 2014 recruit has several schools showing interest and Bogan is making plans to visit those schools.

Bogan is starting to get interest from schools in the east and midwest. Georgia Tech and Boston College are two of the schools that are showing Bogan the most interest. "I hear a lot from Georgia Tech and Coach (Joe) Speed."

Coach Speed and Tech are looking at Bogan as an A Back in their spread option offense. Bogan knows that his running ability wouldn't be the only thing he'd be able to show. "I would be involved in big pass plays and also be the man that springs another running back for a big play with my blocking ability."

Both Tech and Boston College have invited Bogan to visit. Tech hoped to have Bogan visit on the 20th which will make it difficult for Bogan to attend. "I know I want to come down for some spring practices and possibly the spring game."

Jamauri has an offer from Tech but has yet to receive one from Boston College. Bogan's recruitment remains open but he has both those schools high on his list. "I love everything about Georgia Tech from the location to the tradition, coaches, and players."

Look for Jamauri to make his college choice by late Spring or June. "My senior year is something that I want to enjoy without all the recruiting calls. I want to enjoy it because it will go by fast."

His relationship with his position coach will be important to Bogan in making his college choice. "I also want the school I choose to be in an area that makes me feel like I am at home away from home."
