Wood: "They Started To Execute"

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Senior forward Scott Wood discusses the loss to North Carolina.

"We had a lot of turnovers which really killed us and gave them a lot of easy buckets."

"But, we put ourselves in a position to win and had a little dry spell where we couldn't make a shot."

"Good pressure by them and us not making smart plays."

"You've got to give credit to them. They pressured us and we didn't execute when we needed to."

"They started to execute, and we didn't hit any shots."

"When we got the four-point lead I started to feel a little better, but there were a couple of defensive assignments we messed up and they got some easy baskets to get back in it."

"They are definitely a lot better. They stretch the floor which makes them hard to guard off their dribble penetration.

"They are a lot better team now. I feel like we were in position to win the game, but we just didn't finish it."

"We're playing alright. There's definitely some things we can get better at, especially on the defensive end."

"We've just got to get back in the gym and work at it... get a couple more wins."

"Everybody is tired. You've just got to find a way to fight through it and that's all it's about. You've got to be mentally strong, keep getting in the weightroom, and keep yourself mentally fit."

"I feel like we're going to come out there and win. That's the way you're supposed to feel."
