Dupre Not Ready to Name Favorites

College coaches are showing a lot of attention to John Curtis Christian High School (LA) players. One of those players that is getting attention from college coaches is receiver Malachi Dupre.

Profile - Malachi Dupre

Dupre is ranked by Scout.com as the number 11 receiver in the 2014 class and he currently has close to 30 offers.

Georgia Tech is one of the schools on the long list of offers for Malachi. They recently offered Dupre. "It is getting hard to keep up with all the offers, teams, and coaches."

The fact that Tech runs an offense similar to John Curtis has Malachi's interest. Malachi knows that if he went to Tech that he could put up some huge numbers. "The Tech coaches told me that with my ability and talent that I would be a force in their offense and I would help to open up their passing attack."

Malachi is somewhat familiar with Atlanta and Georgia Tech. "I have an aunt that lives there and I have been to Atlanta and seen a little bit of Georgia Tech."

A trip to Atlanta is a possibility for Dupre and some of his teammates. "I have several teammates that Georgia Tech has offered including my best friend Mattrell McGraw and we would like to go up there and check everything out." Georgia Tech is a school that Malachi and his teammates will consider."

Dupre doesn't feel it's time yet to name a firm favorites list. He has too many offers to be able to do that right now. "Georgia Tech, Clemson, Florida State, and Arkansas are a few of the schools that we will visit at some point."

Playing time as a freshmen is something Dupre will be looking at in selecting a school. He is also looking for a school with a strong fan base. "I plan on majoring in Sports Management and it is important that the school I choose has that type of major."

With so many schools recruiting him, Malachi doesn't feel he'll make his college choice until close to signing day. "I am going to be thorough in my thought process and my decision and I'll take my time to do it right."
