Hardin Excited About Georgia Tech

Florence, Alabama offensive lineman Cole Hardin is starting to get weekly offers following his performance in spring practices and his spring game. The latest offer from Georgia Tech brings his total to eleven.

Profile - Cole Hardin

Tech Coach Mike Pelton was one of the coaches that watched Hardin practice. He received film on Hardin as well as his transcripts. "Coach Pelton took them back to Atlanta and the staff at Georgia Tech said they knew I was the type of player they wanted." Hardin called Coach Pelton and received an offer from Tech during the call.

The two talked about playing in the ACC and Cole also received an invitation to attend the Tech summer camp in June. "I will be attending the camp."

As Cole moves forward with the recruiting process, he does not have a preference for staying in-state or leaving the state. "I will go to the school where I feel the most comfortable." Cole plans to visit every school that has offered him. Hardin has no favorites at this time.

Hardin plans to be a business major. "I know Atlanta is a great place to get your foot in the door on business opportunities and that is plus in my eyes."

A decision on his college choice will probably be made in mid to late fall. "I do know I will be going to some games and visits at Georgia Tech since it is not too far away."

Hardin is not the only Florence player getting the attention of the Tech coaching staff. Quarterback Kendrick Doss and other teammates are also getting a look. Doss has been offered by Tech. "Kendrick and I have talked about the Georgia Tech offer and we are excited about it. We feel we would be great additions to their offense."
