Georgia Tech and Kansas State are the two latest offers for Darious. He now has seven offers. "I feel a few other schools are close to offering as well." Vanderbilt and Tennesee are the two schools that Latimore feels are recruiting him the hardest.

Darious received the Georgia Tech offer from Coach Ted Roof . Georgia Tech is recruiting Latimore as a cornerback. "They like my height and the fact that I am physical. Coach Roof says with some hard work, I could come in and earn some early playing time as a freshman." Latimore liked hearing those words.

Latimore also received an invitation from Coach Roof to attend their summer camp. "It is one of the camps that I want to attend this summer." Attending the camp will give Darious a chance to learn more about Georgia Tech.

A favorites list is not in the cards yet for Latimore but the offer from Tech puts them in a favorable light. "Georgia Tech is up there. They have most everything I am looking for in a school."

Vanderbilt will be another school that will get a visit from Darious this summer. "My teammates and I will be going to a camp at Vanderbilt on the 30th. He also plans to visit Tennessee and Virginia.

When it comes time to make his college choice, Darious will be looking for a school that coaches him up and prepares him for life after football. "I want to have a degree that will open doors and have value and meaning behind it." Latimore is planning to major in sports medicine.
