The first visit for Tavin was to Clemson for their game with Georgia followed by a visit to Georgia Tech for their game with North Carolina. His last trip was to Georgia for the LSU game.

The Georgia Tech visit was the lone visit where he had a chance to talk to the coaches. "I went out on the field and talked with Coach Paul Johnson when they hosted North Carolina." Coach Johnson let Tavin know that he was a high priority for them.

"He said that receivers, and current pros, like Calvin Johnson, Demaryrius Thomas, and Stephen Hill played there the past few years. He told me that he felt I would be the type of receiver that could keep that tradition going." Coach Johnson also confirmed with Tavin that had an offer from Tech.

Richardson described the Tech game as "great". "They used the passing game more than I thought and I liked the fact that they did. It shows that if they have the talent, they will diversify their offense more." Tavin also took notice of the atmosphere at the game. "They had great fans support for the game."

The offer from Tech brings Richardson's offer total to eleven. Maryland was the first to offer. "Right now, I am wide open." Ole Miss is one of the schools that is coming after him hard right now.

When it gets time to making his college choice, the campus setting and lifestyle will be a big part of Tavin's decision. Another factor will be the coaching staff. "I want a coaching staff that I get along with."
