Cincinnati Winton Woods linebacker David Long is nearing double digit offers, as college recruiters…
Long Likes Options in Atlanta
Profile - David Long David enjoyed everything about the visit. "All the players and coaches that were there really treated us like we were family and made us really feel welcome. It was a very, very good visit. I rate it a solid 10." The visit was mostly like David thought it would be. "There were some things that were not like I thought it would be but for the better." Living in Cincinnati, David has a feel of what city life is like. "Atlanta is just bigger with more options. That is good in my eyes." Long spent some time on the visit with current Tech players Donovan Wilson and Dennis Andrews. "Both told us we couldn't go wrong with Georgia Tech." The players let David know that the coaches look out for the players but they also hold them accountable for their decisions. "They treat them like adults which is great." The coaches talked to Long about a variety of subjects from how Long would fit in academically to how much they loved the way Long plays. "They loved my attitude on defense and they want players that play with attitude and bring it every play. That made me feel real good." The coaches talked to David about playing outside linebacker. "There could be a chance to go inside but they don't think so and to be honest I really prefer the outside." David likes the idea of having more responsibility as an outside linebacker. Look for David to make a return trip to Tech. "I don't know if it will be for a spring practice, spring game, or sometime in the summer." David also plans to visit North Carolina State and Michigan State. The environment at the school and how he fits in are two factors David will be looking at in making his decision. How well he gets along with the coaches and players will be another factor for David.
