Dante Wigley Looking For A Good Match
Profile - Dante Wigley Carrollton, Georgia corneback Dante Wigley has been busy taking visits now that he has finished his junior year at Carrollton. Wigley also plans to take additional visits as he continues to evaluate the schools that are showing him interest. Eight schools have extended offers to Wigley and more could be on the way. Troy was the latest to offer Wigley. Dante also has offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Marshall, Mercer, and Mississippi State. Wigley was in Atlanta for the recent Georgia Tech recruit day. He toured the facilities, met with the coaches, and had some fun with his fellow recruits. "I got to talk with Coach (Joe) Speed and Coach (Paul) Johnson." Dante has also taken a visit to Wake Forest and camped at Mississippi State. Dante will be visiting Troy on the 25th. Could Georgia Tech get another visit from Dante? "I'll be up there again. I'm pretty sure I will." Wigley keeps in touch with his recruiting coach; Coach Andy McCollum . Dante is aware of the available cornerback scholarship openings at Tech from his talks with Coach McCollum. "I definitely keep an eye on things." Dante has a few factors that he'll be looking at when deciding on his college choice. "I'm looking for a school that shows me that they really want me." Wigley is also looking for a coaching staff that is motivated and wants to win and improve the program. When asked which schools were recruiting him the hardest, Dante had quite a few schools that fell into that category. "Georgia Tech, Troy, Georgia State, North Carolina State, Cincinnati, and Boston College are all recruiting me hard." With eight offers in hand, Wigley is not ready to name any favorites. "Right now I'm wide open." Dante knows that when the time comes, he'll know which school is right for him.
