When we last talked to Evyn he stated that he would be ready to name his favorites after his first game. "In no order at all, my top list of schools are North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Purdue, and Missouri."

Cooper gave us some reasons why he liked each school and the position those schools want him to play.

North Carolina – “I really like Chapel Hill and the facilities. The coaches there are real good and they tell me they can coach me up to the next level. They want me to play running back there. I love the way the coaches make me feel when I have visited there.”

Georgia Tech - “It’s in my back yard. I like it being close to home. I feel as do the coaches there that I can be a game changer for the program. I talk to Coach (Ted) Roof almost daily. He's like family to me. He really has my best interests at heart as does the whole staff. The campus is great as are the facilities. Coach Roof wants me at defensive back but Coach (Lamar) Owens says he wants me at running back. It is great to know they want me bad enough that each position coach is pushing me to come there. Right now they tell me I am being recruited as an athlete.”

Purdue - “The coaching staff is great. I also feel like a part of the family there. They are turning the program around and want me to be a big part of that turn around. They feel I’m a player that can come in and help the program get back to the top of the conference."

Missouri – “They want me to play offense either at running back or slot receiver. The coaches have told me on several occasions that they fell in love with my speed and athleticism. I like that they came into the conference and did well right away. Missouri is a good program and recruits Georgia well."

Evyn is still looking at the same time frame to make his decision. "I feel that it would be in my best interests to concentrate on the beginning of the season.” Look for Cooper to make his decision following the McEachern game in early September.
