GT Hoops: Senior Recruits Update
Georgia Tech's incoming seniors all continue to have strong senior campaigns. Here are some recent results. Thaddeus Young - He had 11 pts in an easy 119-58 win over Sheffield and then has 27 pts in a tough 89-88 loss to Hamilton. He also had 33 pts earlier in the week in an easy 102-49 win over Hillcrest. Javaris Crittenton - Had a monster 54 point game in a 96-53 win over Eagle's Landing Christian. He also had over 25 pts in a win last night. Brad Sheehan - Brad had a 25 point night (his 6 game of 25 points or more in his last 8) against rival Colonie in a 59-51 win. Earlier in the week he had 18 points in a 69-47 win over Ballston spa. Zach Peacock - Zach was the Miami Herald's Player of the Week after scoring 27 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks in a 86-73 win over Pompano Ely. This win was particularly sweet for Zach as Ely was the school that knocked Norland out of the playoffs last spring and a number of their players play on Zach's AAU team so he has had to endure a lot of ribbing. Earlier in the weekend he scored 15 points in an easy 75-27 win over North Miami Beach and he had 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 74-52 win over Carol City. These are not exact numbers but for the season the future Georgia Tech players are averaging roughly the following: Young - 27 pts, 10 rbs, 4 assists Crittenton - 29 pts, 9 rbs, 7 assists Sheehan - 24 points, 14 rebounds, 5 blocks Peacock - 25 points, 10 rebounds RamblinRed
