Here is a portion of the practice report.

1. Today I want to start with a trio of freshmen who are really starting to fit in well with the team. The biggest standout so far is Demaryius Thomas. "Bebe" is already built for the college game and he's starting to show, on the field, that he deserves to play in some college games this fall. True, he's built similarly to Damarius Bilbo, but he's somewhat smoother and more natural as a receiver. He made catch after catch today and seems to really be comfortable. Sedric Griffin has been a big and pleasant surprise for the team as well. I have heard that the coaches really like the way he hits and I'm starting to see what they mean. He a bit like K-Mike in that he runs around the field well, looks for contact and always seems to be around the ball. Finally, Laurence Marius continues to play well and today he made nice kickoff return as well. He could possibly figure into the mix there as well as provide depth at corner & nickel.
