Ralph Bolden, a rising senior, has a knack for covering and shutting down receivers on defense and taking the ball to the house on offense. This year’s star of Charlton County High School (last year: DJ Donley, next year: Ricky Hart) already has many options with scholarship offers from the likes of Florida, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Purdue, and Wake Forest. Schools are recruiting him as either a cornerback or a running back.
Georgia Tech is looking to bolster its defense with Bolden to hold down the Flats. Bolden has already been to Tech a few times, here is what he had to say about his most recent trip to Atlanta and he updated GoJackets.com on his recruiting:
“The camp was pretty fun. The 7 on 7 drills were a lot of fun. I talked to Chris Jackson some, and the dude from Dublin (GT commit Nick McRae). I plan on visiting South Carolina, maybe Clemson tomorrow (Sunday June 10th), Purdue, and then back to Georgia Tech in July. I really don’t have any favorites yet, I’m just going with the flow. I’m looking for a school where I have a good relationship with the coaches and players. Academics and location are also factors.”
Ralph also had some things to say about Georgia Tech:
“I like the city a lot. I have a bunch of family down there (in Atlanta). It feels like home. D.J. (Donley) is there and we are friends. I could see myself playing with him in college, it would be fun.”
Keep watch for another update on Ralph from GoJackets.com.
