Omoregie, I understand you had an official visit this past weekend to Alabama?

"Yes sir, I did. The visit went good. I had a nice time."

Who was your host while you were there?

"Andre Smith was my host and he seemed to be a pretty good guy."

What did you do on your visit while you were there?

"They showed me the campus and talked academics to me. They also talked about what they have to offer and how I would fit into their overall football plans."

So, would you say you are down to Alabama and Georgia Tech as your 2 final schools?

"No sir, Virginia has entered the picture somewhat now. I plan on taking an official visit to them. I will visit Georgia Tech on the 18th and then take a visit to Virginia on the 25th."

So these are you final schools?

"Yes sir, I will decide on which college I will go to between those three."

Can you name some positives about Alabama?

"It's a good place and I know I will be taken care of if I went there."

How about Georgia Tech?

"I know a lot of people there, I feel real comfortable with the school and players. I like it there a lot plus I can be successful there too. A former teammate of mine goes there, Roddy Jones, and that's a plus."

How about Virginia?

"I know I can be successful there and be taken care of as well."

Concerning playing time, is it important to play early?

"I'd like to be able to play right away but I understand that a red-shirt year might be asked of me and that's not a problem."

What do you feel will be the determining factors in making your final decision?

"The college I plan on attending I have to be comfortable with it first and foremost. I like to go where I can be successful too."

As far as academics are concerned, do you feel any school would be a problem?

"I feel I will succeed academically at any of the three schools, I just have to apply myself."

Dale's Take:
Omoregie Uzzi has said he will make his decision after he visits all three schools and we have set up a date to talk about that decision after his last visit. He is a good young man that it is obvious that he has a plan and is sticking to that plan to make the best decision for himself.
