Toney, what are your measureables?

"I am 6' 1" and weigh 225 pounds and I run a forty time of around 4.6."

What schools offers do you have right now?

"I have received offers from Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Rutgers, and North Carolina State."

Do you have a favorite right now?

"No sir, it is too early to pin down a school as a favorite. I need to get to know all the schools and what they have to offer to really say one is a favorite."

Have you made any visits to schools so far this year?

"Yes, I have gone to Tennessee, Georgia Tech, and Kentucky. All three visits were very good. I got a chance to meet all the coaches at each school. I can't say one was better than the other as each trip so was different and each school had very good things to show me that were different from the other ones."

Have you decided on any summer camps or unofficial visits to any schools for the summer?

"My coach and I will sit down and discuss which camps would be the ones that would be the best ones to go to and which schools I can visit and learn more about them."

Do you hope to have a decision on a school made early or will you wait closer to signing day to decide?

"I really want to have a decision made by the end of summer as I don't want the distraction of recruiting to drag out."

How about distance, do you want to stay close to home or would you like to venture away from the Atlanta area?

"I'd like to stay close to home, I do not want to venture out of the south at all. I can't see me going to far from the Atlanta area."

What will be your main factors when it comes down to decision time on a college?

"Education will be one of the main factors. Also, how soon I can hit the field as I would like to play as early as I can. All athletes want to play and help their team win and be a part of the teams success."

What do you hope to major in when you get to college?

"I really would like to major in Broadcasting. A major that will help me in that area would be great."

What do you feel your best trait as a running back is?

"I feel I have very good power and vision. I love running between the tackles and I am not afraid of making the first hit on the defensive guy. My power game is what I do best."

What do you feel you need to work on before you go to college?

"I need to work on drills to improve my speed. I know I can get faster by hard work and I will do that."

How about your high school team, what is the outlook for your last year there?

"To be honest we are in a new region and because of not knowing the other teams that well we are not sure of how we will do. However the fact that we have a very good team coming back, we feel we should do very well."

Do you have a nickname that your teammates call you?

"Not really, I've always been called "T-Will" and it has kind of stuck with me and everyone now calls me that."

Dale's Take:
Toney is a very easy person to talk to. He is very open and has a great personality. He knows what he is best at in his running game and is very proud of being able to run as hard as he does. He also knows that adding more speed to his game will make him that much better. He and his coach will work hard to make sure the college he chooses will be the right one for Toney.
