David how did your trip to Georgia Tech go this weekend?

"It was real good. I had a very good time and really enjoyed everything about the trip. I liked every aspect of the visit and it gave me a better impression of Georgia Tech."

Would you say that you have a leader right now?

"Yes sir I do. Georgia Tech is my leader right now. I really liked the trip. The players and coaches really were great people to be around."

What did you think of the practice?

"It was the first day in pads and they were installing a completely new offense but they still looked good. They weren't as crisp as I know they will be after a complete spring and fall practice but they looked good."

You said you got to meet some players. Who did you hang out with?

"I mostly hung out with Calvin Booker and his friends and a few of the linebackers there. I had a great time with them. They showed me what Georgia Tech is all about. I got a chance to see not only all the football related places but also had a chance to see what a great academic school Georgia Tech is. I got a chance to see first hand how valuable a degree is from Georgia Tech."

What other teams are recruiting you hard right now?

"Besides Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Tennessee are recruiting me pretty hard too."

Do you have any more visits lined up for the spring?

"I will be going to Tennessee Saturday and possibly taking in Alabama's Spring game but I'm not sure yet."

Dale's Take:
It appears that after a great visit down to Atlanta, the Yellow Jackets have emerged as David's leader among all the schools recruiting him. He really got a chance to see the academic side of Georgia Tech and see how valuable a degree from Tech can be to him.
