Antonio Foster took in a Georgia Tech practice on Monday with fellow teammate and best friend Mike Gilliard and his high school coach. Antonio talked about his trip to Georgia Tech and how they have moved up in his eyes.
Antonio how did the visit to watch Georgia Tech practice go?
“It went really well. I had a great time as did Mike. We even talked about going back on the 17th to take in another practice and possibly staying overnight. The visit opened my eyes to other stuff about Georgia Tech.”
What did you get a chance to do?
“First off we sat down with Coach Johnson and he told us what Georgia Tech was all about. Coach then took us over to the academic director’s office and we had a chance to see what Georgia Tech is all about from the academic side. We then saw the athletic dorms and had a chance to see the sights of Georgia Tech. Practice was about to start so we went to watch them practice. I really liked how the offense is going to look. I got a chance to sit in on the offensive line meeting and see how they coach the players. It was great.”
What is next on your agenda?
“Mike and I are going to Georgia and then Florida the weekend after this up coming one. After that I will go to Miami if I haven’t made a commit to a school before it is my time to visit Miami.”
Has Georgia Tech moved up in your eyes?
“Yes sir they have at that. I’d say they are even with Florida as my top two. Miami is third on my list. You can say that Georgia Tech and Florida are dead even right now.”
Antonio and I discussed times to talk about his next two trips and then possibly talking about making a commitment if things go as he expects them to go. Stay tuned for any developing updates on Antonio.
