How has your recruiting been the past few weeks?

"Well, it has been about the same. I've heard from both Georgia Tech and Purdue and I am hoping that one or both of them offer me real soon. I am also hearing from a lot of smaller schools but I really want to go to a major college and play football there."

What would your ideal or best scenario be for you in your recruiting process?

"To me the best thing that could happen is I get home and find out that Georgia Tech has offered me a scholarship. Ideally that is where I want to go and playing with Jordan (Jordan Luallen) after high school would be great."

If the offers from Purdue or Georgia Tech for some reason do not happen, what will be your plans?

"I try not to think about that happening. I feel that I will be able to get a scholarship and in fact the Tech coaches told me that an in state player had until a certain time to accept their offer or they will not hold the offer for him, that it possibly could be mine for the taking. I'll just have to wait and see."

What other sports do you play besides football?

"I run track in the spring. This year I will run the 110 hurdles, the 300 hurdles, the 4 x 400, and the 4 x 100. I am looking forward to track season as it helps me keep in shape for football.

Dale's Take:
Luke was very positive that he will get an offer. He says he's not going to let the lateness of an offer get to him and that he feels one will come his way very soon. After speaking with him on the phone, I feel confident that one will come his way too as good things happens to good kids that are very patient.
