HOW WOULD YOU JUDGE THE 2009 SEASON AT CHATTAHOOCHEE?
“As a team, we had a lot of heartbreakers and those close games are always hard to take. Personally, I think I did well. One of my goals was to become more aggressive and I’m told I achieved that.”
WHAT DOES YOUR OFF-SEASON ROUTINE LOOK LIKE?
“I spend time with a trainer three nights a week and three nights I have an SAT prep course I’ve been taking. I’ve been thinking about going out for track and field to throw the javelin.”
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR VISIT TO GEORGIA TECH?
“I was there for the North Carolina game and it was awesome. Tech’s campus being in the middle of downtown really appeals to me. I like the city life that Tech provides.”
ARE THERE OTHER SCHOOLS INTERESTED IN YOU?
“Yes, I’ve gotten written offers from Ole Miss and East Carolina and verbal offers from Arkansas and Tennessee. I’m planning a visit to Duke over the Thanksgiving holiday. But, my parents would like me to stay close to home.”
HAVE YOU SET A TARGET DATE FOR A DECISION?
“I will probably wait until the end of the season next year. I’d like to make my decision once all the offers are made. I hope to be about 285 at 6’4” by then.”
WHAT DOES THE NEXT FEW MONTHS LOOK LIKE?
“I’ll continue my workout routine until the last day of my senior year. I plan on taking the SAT at least two or three times. I’m not sure what summer camps I may attend.”
HOW ARE YOUR GRADES?
“I have nearly a 91% average.”
AND NEXT YEARS CHATTAHOOCHEE TEAM?
“We’ll lose a lot of the secondary and receivers, but our offensive line will be back and so will our quarterback.”
