"I was at Virginia yesterday (Sunday, June 6th) and I've got a 7-on-7 camp this coming weekend at East Carolina," Hermitage High School's Curtis Grant said. Grant will also be headed back to Virginia for a camp on June 19th and will also go to North Carolina in July. That's all that is on the schedule for now.
Grant is a highly coveted linebacker by many teams. For Georgia Tech, Al Groh is recruiting him to come and play in his 3-4 defense. "They're somewhat recruiting me. We don't talk too much," Grant said of Georgia Tech.
There is no list of favorites right now for Curtis and he says that all schools recruiting him are neutral. Although, he did mention five schools that he hasn't seen yet that he looks forward to visiting. "I want to see Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, and Michigan."
Grant will likely make his decision after his senior season. He is looking for a few important things in the school that he will choose. "Early playing time is the top priority. Also, how I fit with the coaching staff and the players is really important."
