O'Bryant Sets Timetable and Final Seven

Johnny O'Bryant has recently trimmed his list of schools to seven. He has some official trips in mind as well as what he'll be looking for on those trips. Johnny has also set a timetable for making his decision on which school he'll attend.

Johnny O'Bryant is the latest in a long line of big man to emerge from Mississippi high school ranks. The 6-9, 240 pound senior from Cleveland played on the US U-17 basketball squad in Hamburg, Germany this summer. Schools expressing interest included Harvard, Memphis, and Georgetown among his nearly thirty offers. He also sports a 3.2 GPA.

O'Bryant has recently trimmed his list of schools. "I have seven schools," said Johnny. "In no particular order, they are Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU, Maryland, GT, Alabama, and Miami."

One of the schools that O'Bryant plans on visiting is Georgia Tech. "We haven't set any specific date yet." O'Bryant does know that he'll be visiting Miami in mid-September. His visit to Georgia Tech will be his first trip to Atlanta.

O'Bryant has one thing that will be important to him when he starts taking his visits. "I'm looking for a place where I feel comfortable." O'Bryant plans on making his college choice in November before his senior season begins.
