| Brooks is an excellent athlete who used his playmaking skills to make a lot of big plays in the secondary. He relied more on those than he did on pure cover skills to get by at this level. He'll need to develop into a better cover guy at the college level but he's got excellent speed and ball skills to make a difference. -- Mike Bakas |

2008: Brooks recorded more than 500 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving. He scored between 10-15 touchdowns. He had six interceptions, three pass break-ups and two forced fumbles on defense.
2008 Accolades: Brooks was named All-County (defense) and All-County honorable mention (offense).
